Most of us Mets fans knew it was going to be tough after losing our Closer a month ago.
I'm proud of them in any case. They withstood a lot of injuries, OF and pitching, to even stay competitive. It just goes to show how having as good minor league system is important. Look to the Rays for proof of that.
As a Marlins fan it was a tough finish , August was a bad month
With the great start they had, at least the last game of the season was worth something to them(spoilers) again 
And for the lowest payroll , they had their 3rd best season in franchise history and correct me if I'm wrong but I believe they had 2nd most HR in baseball.
At least it was a good season to watch .
