bottom of tank plant

:wall:I'm looking for some type of plant that grows on the bottom of the tank with a root structure similar to that of bamboo." sprouts off of the root " I would like it to be somewhat of a small plant not too tall. So if you have any suggestions or even better pictures please let me know.:help:

i asume your talking about a for ground plant. there are alot actually but some have difrent needs. what are the specs or your tank? (size, lighting, CO2 and such)

The tank that I'm building is a 75 gallon with 2 - 2 strip shop lights with plant/ aquarium bulbs. I have ordered 2- 5 pound co 2 tanks and regulators. I hope this help give would some idea of what I have to work with. I have some low light plant In other tank with DIY co 2 systems in place "soda bottles" and now would like to produce more of a show tank if you will.

Know how many watts the strip lights will be? Probably overall lower light.

Marsilea Quadrofolia is a good low light foreground

also in that size tank i think you could probably use Pygmy chain sword or something like it.

if you have high light i would say just go for HC (Hemianthus callitrichoides) or if you could get enought of it a carpet of Utricularia graminifolia would look good
