Just thought I would share some pictures of my angel tank. Currently there are 3 angels, 11 flame tetras, and 5 corydoras. The tank is a 55 gallon that is slowly becoming planted, currently I have some amazon sword, aponogeton, hornwort, and an unknown type of grass that I got when I bought the swords.

Nice tank! Get a black background on there and it will look even better!

I think I'm going to have to do that. I had one of the corny looking seascape ones for awhile before I grew tired of it.

Your Angels look awesome. Can't wait to see the tank when the plants grow up a bit, it'll look great. The tank setup looks awesome also :)

nice, you need a back ground to drown out the brown wall  good job so far :)

nice.. young angels.
is the 'grass'? mondo Grass?
if it is it is not a submerged species. it can be grown with the roots in the water. tho.

For a easy and inexpensive background fix. Stretch a black trash bag across the back, cut the excess, and tape it. That way you can see if you like the black without painting.

Star_rider: I'd have to say it is, it looks like the pictures I got from google. I've had it planted fully submerged for about 6 months now and it's done pretty well for being a false aquatic plant. Snoopy65: Great ideal, I'm going to give it a try and see how I feel about it.

that's about how long mine lasted then I took it out and left the roots submerged..it was a nice plant till the cat got hold of it:angryfire:

Luckily I don't have any cats to worry about here.
