A guy spends over two weeks building a killer sand castle. It only takes one clumsy TV reporter 90 seconds to bring it down:

Anyone understand what they are saying? I'd love to know how ticked the guy was.
LOL, Bet he was proper ticked off, i know i would be.

Well, my high-school spanish from 8 years ago allowed me to determine..not much. She did offer to pay him for the inconvenience at one point, but he was too pissed to respond. I would be too, poor guy...

The fall looked a little fake to me, and the fact that they cut back to the studio so quickly when she fell seems a little strange. Both studio anchors were looking at the camera smiling, kind of like they were expecting the cut back. Any time I've seen an unexpected cut back on a news show, the anchor is looking off somewhere else, or reading something, etc.
I suspect that the guy was done with the castle, and they thought it'd make a funny bit to have the gal seemingly fall into it...
I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

not to mention that if you look at her legs and the way she fell, it sure looks a lot like she initiated the fall well before that chest she was standing on flipped over.

Hey! I happen to be a news anchor and I find that to be a discriminant and harsh comment!

It's water. He uses it to keep the sand damp. Dry sand doesn't work.

Lucky for you, Spanish was my first language. ;)
When the reporter started to explain all the details she told the guy that he can finally rest after 16 days of building this.
The funniest part was when the reporter said after she fell in. "Listen, I've got good news, they tell me from the station that we will pay you in damages." Then he said, "It's just sand it can be fixed, just be calm."
From the station they where telling the reporter, "Paki, tell him you're sorry, and that will be over with."
Then while the reporter was trying to help the guy told her to back off, he can fix this on his own and she might make it worse. All the while she was telling him "We can pay you in damages."
