Could you please give me some info and some pictures on curvicep cichlids? I can’t seem to find any on the web. Thanks.

If you're talking about aequidens curviceps (I hope I spelled that right), they're sweethearts. I had some once, and I loved them. I'd get them again, if I ever get the chance. Mellow, sweet personalities ... rats, I'm starting to miss them again.

Small cichlid, overall gray color, right?

Its tan with a black stripe that starts near the eye and ends in the middle of the fish. The fish is about 3-½ in. long its Latin name is Laetacara curvicep it’s supposed to be the best-known dwarf acara. Thats all I know about it.

Check out this site. They have some in depth info on Community South American Cichlids.

I hope this helps.

Never kept any myself, but they are neat little cichlids. While you are looking at L. curviceps look at the L. dorsigera. They look alot like the curviceps but have a red belly.

Here's a couple pics of mine. I had 2, but one went MIA months ago, never found a trace. Most likely the polka-dot loaches got rid of the body (11 of the buggers in the tank.)
