Well back in early spring I thought that I had gotten rid of all of my trapdoors, LOL, I was gazing in my tank and I noticed this little black snail crawling toward the front. I thought to myself I don't have anything in there that color. Well I studied him closely and it was a baby trapdoor that has survived.

He/She needs a new home. I got rid of his parents and friends b/c I couldn't keep enough for them to eat. He/She is a little bigger than a pea.

You pay shipping and handling and the little guy is yours.

Please pm me your zip code for actual shipping cost.

Thanks, Kim

I am sorry, I dont meen to be rude, but for the hassle of shipping I dont believe anyone is going to take this snail. But dont get me wrong it is a very nice thing. but if I were you I would mash him let the fishies have some fresh meat, but thats just me>

Actually, I plan to get a couple mystery snails if they're still available when I get my next pay, so if you still have him by then I'll take him.

:jaw:I must be missing something here........

Japanese trapdoors usually fetch a decent price. if I needed/wanted it I would be all over it.

This isn't just a regular old pond snail. It will grow in to a giant and live a relatively long life. If I had space for him/her I would eagerly snatch this offer.

LOL, LuckyDud I think that you were thinking of one of those pesky pond snails. These are the live bearing snails that only have like 2-4 babies a year. And like above stated usually fetch a pretty decent price and grow to these extremely large algae eating machines, usually used in ponds.

I do believe that I have a taker on this baby.

Thank you to all the ppl that responded in order to rescue this baby.
