can I put with it? My tank is 55 gals. and I have two 5-6 inch red parrot cichlids, 2 marble angels, 6 small corries and 6 zebra danios.

L34 can be pretty aggressive to other plecos. If I was going to mix something with him it would probably be Leporacanthicus leopardus (L114) or something of that sort. Honestly it sounds like your tank is already pretty full. Red Parrots put of a LOT of waste at that size.

Thanks, I was hoping I could squeeze someone else in. I have fallen in love with plecos. I got my first "common" pleco 5 years ago and at 4-inches. He's (?) now about 14 inches, and is really a personality. He knows me, is not very nocturnal anymore, and even feeds off the top in the a.m. when I feed my other fish. I swear he even knows his name--Algernon!
Maybe I can find some space in my house to dedicate to a pleco tank. Maybe remove my bed?!
