View Full Version : whats with my clown
my clown is staying near the top of the water and has been doing this for about a week now. my water parameters are good, my other fish and, corals seem to be fine. he still has good color but has slowed down his eating. any ideas
my clown does the same thing i think, hes done it for the whole time ive had him (a year). i think its just his territory in the tank.

I have 3 Clown's and they all do it. if i have noticed that they go and poke their face out of the water for a second or two before going back down a couple inches.
thanks, with him ( it ) just starting this I thought something was wrong, I did a water change even though the params were good and he's still doing this. I have also seen him poking his head up out of the water sometimes and thought about possible lack of oxygen. weird

I was just giving the tank a feeding, the clown kind of looks like he sometimes is gasping and sometimes is like hiding behind some rocks
