white film on limewood airstone and bubble ladder..

I am diffusing my diy co2 through a limewood airstone and i have the natural plant system with the ladder as well. when i woke up this morning i noticed that both the airstone and the ladder had a white film on them. what could this be? i cleaned it off but how can i keep it from coming back.

I am pretty sure that is normal.
Everything I have used with C02 has gotten that white film stuff on it.
Just leave it. It goes away eventually.

ok, cool. thanks. thats what i was hoping. i thought maybe it was like a fungus or something though.
