Angel Spawning Behavior Question

Angels are spawning again. She has been cheerfully cleaning the slate in preparation for eggs. This has happened 3 or 4 other times with the eggs being eaten each time.

This time he is nipping at her as she cleans the slate. Is this normal

They are the only 2 fish in the tank. They are both about 2 years old.

1 Are you sure you have a male and a female ?

2 Are the eggs a tan color or do they turn white?

Its not normal but not unusual that is more of a female trait if she is bigger than the male this can happen.

Definitely have a male and female. Eggs are tan (a few are white). They are both the same size, both 2 + inches in diameter (body size, excluding fins).
