I got my first discus!!

So I was going to get a larger QT tank for the discus I was going to buy, but the manager at the LFS swore by the health of his discus that he guaranteed me everything that was in my 110 gallon if something went wrong. So I bought 3 pigeon blood which are about 3-4".........very nice and big. I'm acclimating them right now and can hardly wait to see how they interract with my other fish. I have about 60 cardinal tetras, 3 clown loaches and 3 plecos (bristlenose). I want to get about 3 or 4 more discus, but not sure which ones. Any suggestions that would go well with what I've got now?

i hope you got that guarantee in writing

always always always quarantine your new fish. if nothing else, to let the acclimate in peace

You will need to get those other discus ASAP. It will not take long for 2 of them to start picking on the third and kill it.

as for what kind some red turks would be nice but they need to be added quickly!

your LFS is probably right with discus because of the temps they are kept at kills most things.

Definitely get more discus soon, adding more discus before they start picking on each other and before a pecking order is established will eliminate problems later on.
