i would like some black clowns and my son wants nemo can i get one of each? i have seen other have then in smaller tanks than mine and they were fine, but others say they fight? my tank is a 30 long with just cleanup crew been up and running since may08.....
is the tank large enough for 2 of each color? i really don't think so but thought i'd ask......

I kept a black and an orange together in a 25 gal and they did fine. I think maybe if they are bought at the same time it should be ok, but I would only get one of each imo.

I have one of each in a 55 gallon and they have gotten along great. i placed them in at different times as well. Never had a problem

One of each should be fine. If you get fish that are of different sizes that will help them pair up without too much fighting over dominance (the larger one will naturally be dominant and become the female, the smaller one will stay male). A little bit of push and shove is normal in the beginning. Black clowns are the same species as the orange, just with different colouration.
Two separate pairs will fight once settled.
