Please let me know. She is 1.5" long. If she is, this would be the first cichlid to hold. Any info, would be great.

Certainly could be from that pic - I take it she permanently has the lovely gobby look lolabout her this days and this is not just a momentary flare ?

No. She doesn't eat very well. She isolates herself from the group most of the time.

She looks to be holding to me!!! If you can get up close and watch her mouth..when she opens it see if you can see little ball looking things inside.

:iagree:-also if you can, see if the eggs are white, or a gray color. If they are white, the female will eventually ingest them, since they have not been fertilized:headshake2:

Yep She is holding from the looks of it. If you are able to watch her, you will see her tumbling the eggs in her mouth.

Yep she is holding. I wouldn't expect her to eat anything really for a few weeks or so. Just keep an eye out and make sure she isint getting harrassed or picked on.

well my friend its in the sense of what you want to do with this, a 125gal with alot of rock work along with your suggested lightly stocked tank for that size that you should be able to be close to a full survival rate on the fry well i hope so for that matter would be a nice setup with all those yellow labs and the harem of demasoni's good work on the breeding aye..
