I noticed that too, when I bought it. I don't know about the dwarf shrimp species, but I've had no problems using it with my bamboo shrimp. It's a very very small trace amount, and I use half the recommended dosage at that just in case. My shrimp behave and molt normally, and are that healthy reddish color they get when water params and food are good. I believe carbon would help pull it out if you're worried about it and/or used a large dose. Water changes wouldn't hurt too, since it's in the water column.
At the recommended dosing levels, Flourish won't effect shrimp. Seachem used to talk about it on their website, before the redesign. Many people choose to err on the side of caution, but it's up to you.
And, on that note, I like the new Seachem website. It's easier to use and looks much more professional. Much more consumer friendly. The colors are nice too.
You could look for droppers or plastic syringes used for dosing infants at your local drug store. I've got disposable droppers I use with my model painting, usually found somewhere near the paints and adhesives.
dont think thats a real problem. really keep two tanks and try one with and one with out. like they said if your worried dont add it. macros are more important then trace anyways.
might open ones eyes (I, especially, didn't like the part about it being used as an embalming fluid!)
Surely, there must be other chemicals present in this solution, other than embalming fluid? Peeves me manufactures have found a way around the MSDS sheets!
