hey guys, this is kinda of a MAJOR problem...

as you may know, i have a greenterror, jack dempsey, jag, convicts in a 40g breeder(they are all juvenile and moving to diff tanks soon. but what i need is my green terror wont eat! i put in slakes.. he ignores them, i gave him a cucumber.. ignored it, pellets.. grabbed 2, spit them out. I NEED HELP!

please and thank you
kyle.

Try frozen bloodworms, or live blackworms. I've never heard of any fish ignoring live blackworms.

Kyle, I moved it here so you get more responses. When did you get your GT? Usually, it will take a few days before the fish will finally accept the foods. Try smearing the foods with garlic or try meaty foods such as bloodworms for a start. Do not however stick exclusively on one food as this may result to digestive upsets.

Like lupin said garlic normally works quite well, we have used seachem garlic guard when we had a problem with a red devil not eating. If garlic doesn't work i would try seperating him pop him in a qt tank on his own for a bit and see if that helps.

hes the oldest in the tank, about 6 months, i give him flakes, pellets, sundried shrimp, frozen blood worms, feeders.. and some of his tank mates:( earth eater:tombstone::tombstone::tombstone::tombstone:

but lately he wont eat. just the feeders he'll eat. and i dont like giving him only feeders. its not healthy. what do i do!?!?!?
