View Full Version : will Led lights at night cause algea?

I was wondering if I can run my led lights after the regular lights turn of in the evening. will it help algea bloom or?

I doubt it. Unless you have a ton of LEDs, its not enough to grow algae.

No, even algae has a minium amount of light needed.
