Water changes during a fishy cycle

I just started my fishy cycle. I don't have any ammonia spikes at all, should I still do a water change at the end of this week anyway? If so how much?

I was under the impression that one should do weekly water changes during cycling and after cycling. It can't hurt, and it might help with water quality and cleaning your substrate (if you have a siphon or python type system).

I'd do enough water changes to keep ammonia below 1.5 ppm (or lower) during cycling. If you're not registering ammonia yet (and you're sure your testing technique and tests are OK), then you can probably hold off.
