View Full Version : AquaVista 500 Best shrimp tank ever?

I saw an ad for an AquaVista 500 on Craigs list for $150. the first thing came to mind is, that would make an awsome shrimp tank.

The measurements from the site are 26 inches (height) x 26 inches (width) x 4.5 inches (thickness) and holds approximately 25 liters or 6.6 U.S. gallons.

Does anyone have one? or does it seem like a waste of money

$150 seems a bit steep for any tank under 10g, IMO. Though it does look kinda cool.

I would have to agree, it seems with a tank like that your paying for the novelty factor.

you can get a similar 6.6 gallon tank (its not as wide though, and its taller) at Petco.

yeah i guess the novelty is its only appeal.

JM i didnt see it on Petcos site, do you remember the cost and if its mountable

I do not think that would make a very good shrimp tank at all.
