tips on pressurized co2 set up.
tips on DIY co2
its very easy but takes time. you need soda bottle/juice bottle sugar yeast tubing.

mix 2 cups sugar and 1/2 tsp of yeast with warm water 2/3 the way high. it should last 2 weeks or so depending on temp. i would also highly recommend adding a 2nd smaller bubble counter. this will keep the mixture out of your tank.

hello.
Please, explain what you mean by "it takes time", and shouldn't we dechlor the water to protect the yeast? Anyway, I have done all the above, and still no bubble after 48 hours.
Thanks.

Thanks again. How about my question on dechlor? And is it necessary to add Baking Soda, and how much?

You should dechlorinate your yeast's water. Yeast is sensitive to chlorine, but not NH3/NO3/NO2 (so tank water is A-OK, even if fertilized). Also - keep everything clean. If your yeast bottle is a sewer, bacteria will take over, kill off the yeast and produce unfathomably bad odors.

Baking soda is not a good thing for yeast (at least the baking yeast most use in these things). While it can stabilize the pH a little, pH stability is not a Yeast requirement - and the sodium ions produced are generally thought to be toxic to yeast.

If you have any protein powder laying about, that may be a much better additive for your yeast brine.

I have been brewing and distilling alcohol for a few years now. I would reccommend that you add a tiny bit of citric acid to your mixture. I have also added beano to my ferments with some success.
What I have been doing is hooking my UJSM (http://homedistiller.org/wiki/index.php/Uncle_Jesse%27s_Simple_Sour_Mash_Method) ferments to my CO2 diffuser. In this recipe the yeast are supplimented nutrients by the cracked corn(acid protein minerals other stuff). I always have 2 going. keeps me and my plants happy!!
When ebullition ends on one batch I put my airlock back on and switch to the other one. Let the finished one sit for 3 days and distill. Age on oak. MMMMMMM.
