Wouldn't know where to start - mine eats everything:) I do a mixture of mysis shrimp, herbivore diet, mussel, cockle, and mix it all up in a bottle.

Also make sure that you have Nori Seaweed sheets available for continuous grazing.

Greens are the main focus on their diet, even though yellow tangs are pretty much an eat anything ( mine did ) fish...

i feed my tangs a mixture of green, red and brown algae strips also formula 1 and 2 flakes...some brine and mysis shrimp...plus i leave the algae to grow on my back panel of the aquarium for them to graze on and they seem to be doing well on that diet :)

New Life Spectrum sinking pellets and Seaweed sheets. Mine always stayed as yellow as a ripe lemon.

Whatever you decide to feed, just be sure to keep it diverse, with a heavy emphasis on algal matter. Otherwise, there are no hard and fast formulas or anything like that.
