hey guys, i posted a long time ago about my tank not being cycled right and ammonia levels being to high. i have some sort of chiclid, dont really know what kind, but hes not doing very well. he was fine yesterday, but i noticed a couple black spots forming on him. went to feed my lil dudes this morning and hes not doing very hot. hes resting on one side, and wont eat. my water parameters are ok as of now. anyone have any suggestions????

So when you say your water parameters are ok you mean ammonia and nitrite are 0ppm and nitrate is under 40ppm right?
Do a water change,at least 30%.Check to make sure their is nothing growing on your fish, like a fungus, are any other signs of things that are makeing him sick.Add some stress coat, that might not help, but it also can't hurt.

What size tank,what tankmates ?

Did you ever get an ID of the fish ? Can you post a pic ?

What kind of test kit are you using and what exact readings did you get for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate ?
