I have a 29 gallon tank. I have noticed some spots of algae growing on my driftwood and sides of the aquarium. It is a reddish brown color. Are there any good algae eaters that could help take care my problem?

Bulldog plecos, oto cats (in groups), siamese algae eaters, and bristlenose plecos would all work just fine. It really depends on which specie best fits your water composition and which is most available... And of course, your personal taste.

Malaysian trumpet snails (MTS) work on that also.
They do eat eggs so not for breedng tanks. You maybe be able to get them for free from fish stores, they are ice cream cone shape, max size 1".
I have more than enough, want some? I've been shipping them out since the fancy goldfish was sent away and the tanks he was in was overrun with snails due to his missing so much food.
$5 to cover shipping and for the effort of standing in line at the post office.
if its brownish red and kindof looks like dirt covering everything its diatomic algae and a few otos will take care of it in a couple days. only prob is after they eat the algae then you gotta give em somthing else to munch on because they dont seem to care for other algae to much, mine anyways. SAE would work but you gotta make sure you get one of them and not a CAE.
