We are planing to turn our other 20G into a snail only tank. well planted-no CO2 tank.
Move all our 4 brigs to it, get a few more brigs and a spixa (zebra) and a few others as well.
anyone have any comments or suggestions?

Sounds great. I would recommend overfiltering if possible. Also, cover the intake and keep the temp in the mid 70's. Remember its about 2.5g of space needed for each adult bridgesii, and if you plan on hatching a clutch leave lots of extra space. Good luck and ca'nt wait to see it!

I have "snail only" tanks and I would suggest lots of live plants. Mine love to graze on Anubias leaves (I have several varieties), and floating hornwort will help with the snail waste. I do partial water changes twice weekly as well. Overfiltering is a must like msjinkzd said. The more filtration the better.

cant wait to get it setup... what kind of substrate would you recommend? also, have any idea's about what plants would work good for the snails ( I know Hollygirl mentioned a few, anymore? ) and look good in the tank??
