I just noticed that there is dew drop looking bubbles on my plants.
I poked at a bubble with a stick and it take some good poking to get it to come off the plant.
My Brazilian Penny wort and the submerged duckweed are covered in it.
There is one spot on the stem of my Penny wort that has about 4 tiny bubbles per second rising up out of the stem.
Some of my other plants only have a couple bubbles on them.

Probably a stupid question but I just wanna make sure.

Is this pearling?

Pearling is usally a small stream of bubble coming from a plant. Very small bubble.

It could be pearling or small bubbles from your HOB output (if you have one) clinging to the plants.

I did a water change yesterday lol

The day filter I have is a Fluval 1 plus under the surface.

After 20 Min's of looking at all my plants I noticed a few of them are pearling, my Water sprite releases a dew drop every 17 seconds then rises to the surface :perv: I tried to record it on video but my cam doesn't show a clear image of anything closer then 3 feet...
The dew drops on the duckweed are almost the same size as the plant itself.

I thought you could only get pearling for Co2 injection?

A couple spots on my Pennywort look like a fizz factory :)

Must be the extra watts that I added because I never got it before when I had 2.2wpg, now I have 3.3wpg

I'm very happy with what I am seeing so far :thm:
