Okay, I've not had many loaches thru the years. I have 3 yoyo's now, and have had a few kuhli's in the past. I was told yesterday at a lfs that I can't add any other type of loach to the tank with my yoyo's because loaches will not get along.
Is this true?
No, it isn't. Yoyos should be fine with several other loaches of botiine genus but not with the Pangio which prefer less boisterous tankmates. Just keep a group of 5 minimum per species and they will not try to peck members of other species.

How big is your tank? It would be better to add a few more yoyos. Then think about what other species you can add if there's room. 5 is a minimum if at all possible.

I thought about adding two more. I keep reading some places where it's better to have three, some say 5 or more.
Tank is a 60gal. 48in long, 12.5 wide.

I'd add more yoyo's before adding a different species...the more the merrier.
