Thinking of purchasing some snails to help with algae.
I'm wondering how many and what kind is suggested for a 90 gallon aquarium. I'm also assuming that you need to acclimate them as you would fish?

Maybe 20~30 Olive nerites, 10 spiky nerities and 10 Zebra/turreted/red-spotted nerites. You definitly can try other species as well. You need small species to clean thin stuff, and larger species to clean the glass and other solid surfaces. This mix should take care of the algae. A SD might nibble on plant life

What temp are you going to be keeping this tank? Typically goldfish and tropicals are not housed together becausee of the different tank requirements they have (temperature, feeding, etc). I think a couple nerites would work out fine. Do you have alot of algae already?
