I found this guy for sale on craigslist for $50 including the set up( 20g long and lamp). :headbang2:
I bought him a heat mat since it gets chilly in my house during winter. I also added a branch for him to climb on for extra heat or help aid in shedding.

Spartacus just turned 2 yrs old and is about 3.5 feet long. He is veryy social and curious; never afraid to meet new people even though he just moved. He is beginning to shed too so he is not as bright as he should be.

Ah.. forgot to mention the catch. The tank included an infestation of roaches. I've tried to kill every last one of them I saw but they're probably repopulating in my house somewhere..

Nice snake! About the roaches, set some Tokay Geckos loose in your house. They'll take care of them, lol!
 
Yeah I'll it will take a nice sized rat huh? What is the diet and feeding schedule like?

I had a ball once and trusted those plastic clips on my plastic tank screen. Apparently my 18 inch ball could push hard enough to pop them off. I found the snake with some abrasions on its belly. My mom made me give it to the vet then.
Just a cautionary tale to tell you to make sure your lid is on good. Even if you aren't worried about the snake hurting you it could hurt your snake.
