I got some Green Chromis yesterday and one's bigger and one's smaller.

I turned on the light this morning and the smaller Chromis had black "dots" all in it's insides. I noticed this yesterday. It's not on the outside for sure but it did get worse through the night. He seemed a bit out of life.

He's now feeding (even though the big one is a fatty and steals all his food) and moving around bit.

Is this a problem? Anybody else seen this? Could he just have been stressed from sleeping and the light going on?

In my experiences with these fish...

In the morning when the light first comes on their coloration is a little weird. Also during the day if they have been hiding out chilling in a cave or something, they also get some weir coloration. I have chalked it off to camoflageing themselves at night, becaue when they are out in the open it dissappears.

Just my two cents

The coloration can and does vary. What you should be worrying about is the consistent bullying by the more dominant individual.
