hey guys!
trying to get into angel fish.
would a standard 10gal house 2 angels?
if not, what would be a good size?

No, you are going to need a 40g+ tank for two angel's.

I was told a 30 gal for a pair of angels in chat.

I'd do a 40breeder or a 55 just because I like to give my fish room to move around a bit.

I have a breeding pair and nothing else in a 29G. Unless you are getting a pair though I would get at least a 40G as has been suggested, Angels get big, I have a single angel in my 55G that is probably not even a year old and he is about a third as tall as the tank itself. And unless you have witnessed it first hand you will be surprised at how fast and aggressive they can be, so need plenty of room to create a territory.

2 angels will need at least 29 G(29 is usually taller than a 30)
usually recommended for a mated pair.. other wise larger is better.

I have only one in a 45 (which is tall!) he is not full grown yet and he "uses" the entire tank.
