Best Tankmates for Nimbochromis Venustus

At the title says

I am looking to set up a 48x18x18 Malawi tank with some Venustus and i was wondering what tankmates would co-exist with them

your feedback would be welcome
 
You may want to look into getting a larger tank if possible due to their active swimming habits, aggression level and size they attain.
 
They can be a bit mean in smaller tanks. Ive seen them do fine with peaocks and even some cental americans. :)
