Hey folks! just wondering if anyone know what plant this is? I found it in a pond in NY. Thanks! Sorry that the pic is sideways.

How close up is that shot? Knowing the scale might help.
Kind of looks like Blyxa japonica would look if grown under low light...if you could even grow it under low light.

NY? WOW, if it grows that far north and east, I will have to search the delta for it here. Seems like every new area I go into, or every time I go back, there is something new to be found ...

I used to have a tank of willow leaf hygro. It went crazy. It looks like it could be a small piece of it.

I think it's Potamogeton gayi
I'm surprised it would grow so far North..
