Hole in the Head Disease

I noticed that my Oscar has little tiny holes all over his head, especially on the sides and near his nose area. The previous owners did not pay attention to the water chemistry at all and I got him less than a week ago. Is this hole in the head disease? If so, is there anything I can do to try and help him out?:confused:

Keep his water very clean and feed him a varied diet. His HITH should clear up in time if these needs are met.

Thank you for the advice. Right now he is eating two kinds of pellets. I'll go look around for other types of food for him. I hear Oscars like crickets and earthworms.
