I think what our town crier (or village idiot, as the case may be :) ) is tryin to say is that you probably won't get a good answer in General Chit Chat for a fish question :)

Welcome to AC =)

It depends entirely on the size of the fish when they are adults. A 15 generally can hold a few guppies, platies, cory cats, mollies, neon tetras or other similarly sized SMALL fish. I would not put more than 5-10 fish in there. Avoid pairs of guppies because your tank will become QUICKLY overstocked.

A possible stocking list would be:

2 male guppies
2 platies
2 cory cats
4 neon tetras

Add to that a couple dwarf frogs, a few ghost shrimp, a piece of driftwood and some low light plants and you'll quickly have a pretty nice little community tank.

I'm going to move your question over to the freshwater newbie forum, so you might get some better suggestions.

Mike to let you know, these guys like to be in schools. You could get a few more platies, but your tank has enough fish as it is. Glass fish are actually also brackish water and prefer some salt to the water. This may not bother the live bearers a bit, but this may become a problem with your other fish. Plus they should be kept in a school of six or more along with the tetras.
Actually, This size tank will be to small for your swordtails after abit, they can grow pretty big and likes lots of swimming room. And depending on the type of puffer you have, this also can be a problem. some species can grow very big. and you may loose your snail in the process.
So your question shouldn't be "how many fish I can put in a 15 gallon tank?", but rather than, "What are the recommended fish for a 15 gallon?"
