November meeting of the Capital Cichlid Association. Maryland

The November meeting of the CCA will be on the 8th at 2pm at our usual location. www.capitalcichlids.org (http://www.capitalcichlids.org/)

This month will feature Ken Davis. Ken's topic will be the Fish of Honduras.
Ken is the President of the Atlanta Area Aquarium Association and the Elections chairperson for the American Cichlid Association. He also was the Chairperson for the ACA convention in Atlanta this year.

We will have the usual refreshments, raffles and mini-auction.

The raffle will include an aquaclear50 along with the usual donations from manufacturers of foods and chemicals.
The mini-auctions of late are anything but mini. October had around 70 items and September was over 110. You never know what will be in it. Tanks, filters, plants, and of course fish.

I saw Ken speak at the Midwest Cichlid Association Expo last month.He's a good speaker,some of the fish he has collected are amazing.He also has info on how to and how much collecting trips cost.Anyone in the area should go.

What area of Pa are you coming from.
It's a little trip but I have 8 people from York/Lancaster area coming down most months.

We are still growing and looking forward to growing some more. lol

I am in Northeastern York County. I know from talking to a few of the guys at the catfish meet that they are about 10 minutes from me! I am looking forward to this as I can never make it to the Lancaster clubs meets as they are during the week. If you were at teh catfish meet, I was the gal with the big mohawk hanging out on Saturday.

And I am the longhaired olf fart - I wish you could make it to one of the ACLC meetings but, the CCA is a good one too. We have 8 of our members who also belong to the CCA--We bring the fun and Pat brings the wings!
