Yesterday I tested my 33 gallon tank for Ammonia which read .6 so I did a water change, today I tested for Nitrite read .2 and finally Nitrate which read .5 so now that I have all of those readings....what the hell does it mean? I have Nitrate readings does that mean my tank is cycled? Almost cycled or that the Nitrite is affecting the Nitrate readings? I am a little lost here. I reread the cycling article but it does not address test readings. Oh yes and I am using the Nutrafin tests.

Never mind I answered my own question....ammonia needs to be 0, Nitrites 0 and then it is a matter of controlling Nitrates. All in all my readings are a good sign, now if you'll excuse me I have to change my water.
