Has anyone retrofitted a Nova T5 pro unit?, I am thinking of getting the fixture and then eventually making a Nice wooden hood to put it in there would have to be a way that I could either attach Brackets to it. And then to the wood, Or put bracing inside the canopy for it to sit on. I really don’t want to deal with a retrofit kit they are usually just as much. This thing has 6 bulbs and plenty of light for me.
i can get it for about 290$
Any Ideas, 36”x25hx18w?? What would you put on it.
Thanks

I don't see why it wouldn't work...just rip out the endcaps, ballasts and wiring and attach them into a wooden canopy. Does that fixture have individual reflectors? If not, I would add them in at the same time.

i was not planning on gutting it just do this. Attach “L” brackets to the ends and then screw and bolt them threw the wood canopy top.

Oh, I see. I don't see why that wouldn't work either as long as you leave enough room for the fans to move air.
