Okay heres what I'm thinking.
I like to plan ahead so this will be multiple years in the future.
I would love to on either side of my fish room have a 200g tank for a zebra pleco, some cories, danios, and guppies. Anyway then on the third wall away from the door instead of having a sump behind the false wall I was wondering if I could have a custom tank (2ft wide 1ft tall 6ft Long), that is full of gravel and such and then planted with bog plants for a nitrate hog? There would also be a tank in the back room for mechanical filtration as well.
What do you think of this?
I know the possibility of sharing diseases and such but these would all be the same stock in each tank anyway.
Also wondering about what you would stock in 2 connected 200g tanks?
I am looking for nothing that gets over 4" except the pleco and no cichlids. I'm not a fan of big fish.
