okay, i have my 29g up and running now. i have about 35lbs of lr and about 45lbs of live sand, a 10g fuge, 1 corilla 2 and some of the wall power head that is rated at 200gph. i also have about 300gph comeing out of my fuge, so that is about 1100gph if you count my return and 800 with out it. either or plenty of flow in the tank. now my question is. since i am going to diy a MH light and hood what will be best. i am torn weather or not to do 250w, 175w, or 150w? and what color temp do i want to go with. 10k, 14k, 20k? i need help!!! i am going to keep softies, lps, and sps(maybe). what to do what to do. and help would be great oh and any ideas on a cheap route would be good too. thanks.

Any of those wattages would be just fine. For efficiency, look into a 175w (SE) Iwasaki 15K lamp, which is actually crisp white. They have almost the same intensity as many 250w halides but with even less electrical consumption. The only issue is that it will be a LOT of light, so you'll have to acclimate very carefully.
