how many ghost shrimp in 20 gals?

I'm wondering how many ghost shrimp would be appropriate for a 20 gallon tank with four mollies and a Betta male. I'd like to get a few more fish (a pleco moving over from my goldfish tank, maybe some danios or platys), but I don't want it to get too crowded. I understand that some of the shrimp may become lunch, too. How easily do they breed?

Ghost shrimp will often carry eggs, but this will seldom produce more shrimp in a community tank. I would say you could add 6-10 easily, and it doesn't sound like you have anything that will munch on them. However--they are not as long lived in FW tanks as some of the other shrimp options, like amanos.
