My eel that was acting weird died today and i have no idea why. He was just getting better, then stopped eating and today was dead.
Is the rest of my tank okay. What should i even look for

Well what kind of eel was it? Size of tank? tank mates? How old is the tank? have you had your water checked? How long have you had him? Sometimes some species of eels will live for a very long time in a tank with out eating and the die due to not being fed. But this is something I can not say with knowing what kind of eel it is.
So if you can give us some more info, that would be appreciated to help you further.
