I am new to aquariums. I am confused about air filters. I have a 10 gallon tank with a biowheel filter and a 38 gallon tank also with a filter, not a bio wheel. I have not added fish to the 10-gallon yet. It will be tropical. The 38 gallon contains two goldfish and two snails.
Do I also need an air filter? If so, what do I get? If I understand correctly the air filter can be attached to bubble walls etc. Of course, adding more oxygen to the water.
