i need help sexing calvus if its possible. i wanted to get a trio (1m, 2f) but i dont know how to sex them or know if it is even possible. any help is appreciated. peace

Even as adults theyre hard to sex. The only good way of sexing them is through venting.
What size are you getting them at? If its 2.5" or under, its pretty much impossible and you would be better off get 5-8.
If they are young it is close to impossible. When adults the male will be larger and have more trailing fins. Also the male will be the more aggressive so if you have a trio then you can look at behavior. It is a tough call though.
