Well I decided to venture in to a new area of Cichlids! I purchased a pair or marbled angels today. I plan to try and breed these guys. I have never kept angels so figured I would try something new! Pics to follow soon!

Is this pair a bonafide spawning pair already? How big are they? I'd start with 6 young angels if space permits and let them pair off by themselves.
They are just male and female and about the size of a half dollar or so. I only have a 29g for them. I am aware I might not get a pair by just getting a male and a female. I would like to get six juvis and get a pair that way but all I have for them is the 29g and nothing to do with the rest that don't pair. I am just hoping I get a spawning pair but if not I wont be too upset!

Half a dollar size? How did you know their genders? There is no accurate way to tell their sexes other than when they spawn. If I were you, invest in a 55g and grow 6 young angels or try to get a bonafide pair instead.
