not even a tissue over the flash! We borrowed the camera from caitylee's mom to see if we like it. all pics were full auto mode, even auto focus.
a couple of our sunfish and a few of our goldfish are the only ones that posed.
my one longear LOVES the camera. He comes right up and stays there. LOL
EDIT:
well, I will post the rest tomorrow. LOL
EDIT: EDIT: this is DooSPX!!

Excellent pictures of the sunfish and goldfish. You got up close and personal with the fish. I've found that doing that gives the best results and the most interesting pictures.

yes it does, I really like the S700 camera even on auto settings. I believe this camera would be a good investment to learn how to take great photos.
I like the 9100 because of the manual zoom and focus that Rick311k uses, but its 300 more and I found out that the S700 does really well too.

Thanks, we are still working on trying to get pictures of the Goldfish, they move TOO MUCH!!! LOL
the sunfish are easy. LOL
Nice shots! The first thing I would recommend is to take the camera off of the auto setting and use the manual settings. It may take longer to set up but is definitely worth the extra effort. Besides that you'll get more familiar with the camera as well! ;)
Oh yeah!....... I was also going to say, try to aim your camera a little more downward to eliminate the flash from showing up in your pictures. Your obviously using a tripod so just put your camera up a little higher and aim down slightly.
Have fun!

Great photos. I am trying to figure out what camera I want to invest in too. I borrowed my boss' cam last night(I'll be posting some shots a lil later) but I didn't care for it. I had very few manual settings and the timing was soooooo slow!!! The pics are not that great, but i have em in my photo program, tryin to enhance them the best i can(they are still crappy). her cam is a v5335, not recommended except maybe for scenery of still shooting.

If you want the blues to show up bettwer, you could try going without the flash. Raise the ISO and lower the "F" value of the aperture if you can. This will let more light in and help you get the blues back
