Looking for an online source to purchase a motor for my aquaclear 200. My LFS doesn't carry anything like this. The thread is cracked and peeled up from the housing, and although it's not leaking (yet), I don't want to take any chances. I can just picture walking downstairs one day and finding an inch of water in my tank and 19 gallons on the floor.

I looked at Big Al's, but I couldn't find anything. I also checked Dr. Foster and Smith, and they have them at $9.98. Good Price?

:) Thanks:)

AquaClear uses the same motor for Mini, 150, 200 and 300. Both Big Als and That Pet Place carry them, both show $11.99 as the price.

However, Big Als has a low prices guarantee which says if you can find it on the Net for a lower price than their's, they will sell it to you for 5% under that lower price. Call Big's toll free number and let em know where you found it and for how much and you are in business.

To find it on Big Als, do a search for "motor".
