I am to them, but they still have their own rank going, since Dutch is aging, things are going a little funny, as I'm sure the younger ones sense she is weak.
They're all under me and they know it, it can be hard with Dutch at times, as she is mostly deaf, getting her to respond is not easy.
But Tink and Sparkles are pretty good about it all. The only problems I have with Tink is she is scared of other dogs, thanks to Dutch and a neighbors uncontrolled animal.
After the attacks on her, she reacts aggressively with certain dogs.
The ones she acts worse about are 3 cocker spaniels that go crazy when they see another dog, it's the only stimulation they have, since the owner is not home most of the time and they don't go for walks.. So you can imagine they go pretty nutty.
You've got a cocker spaniel. don't you? Imagine how she'd act without any exercise, save for running up and own the fence, and no mental stimulation other than seeing people go by.. X3 then you have the craziness of these dogs..
Sparkles is a character, she grew up with shepherds, and thinks she can boss the bigger dogs around, which is what started the scraps between her and Tink, she went after Tink for acting like a nutty puppy, and Tink tried to back her down, which didn't work.
I got to a couple of nice sites to help with training,
http://www.seefido.com/dog-discussion-forum/index.php is one, dogbreedinfo.com, and I watch every one of Victoria Stillwell's shows, also other training methods.
If you had seen Tink when we got her out of that cage in the pound, you'd never have thought she'd be a good as she is.. lol She beat on her cage until it busted open, then ran out of their door into the zoo to run around... She gave up and went back in her cage after the SPCA workers walked her back in.. She nearly beat me to death with her tail at first.
