Does Pond Prime really = 2x reg Prime? I'm getting a DrF&S order together & 2 liters pond treats 40,000g vs 20,000g for reg. I saved some smaller bottles but with my new Python I seem to go through it faster.

I read both it's 2 times reg & it's just reg but "because it's for a pond less is needed". Air or sun won't break down chloramines AFAIK so that doesn't quite work for me.

A lot of pond products are more concentrated & usually cheaper if you use enough to justify the giant size. My husband, a chemist, doesn't think it breaks down fast.

Either way @$40 for 2 liters it's less than the small bottles.

not too sure, the only way to find out is to test... try pure bleach XD... just dilute it onto some water... and add equal amounts... then measure
