I was just redoing my 29G FOWLR and when i moved a chunk of my live rock a worm about 2.5-3 inches long came swimming out from under. This is an ugle little thing, looks to have legs along the whole body and is kinda opaque in color. Could not get a good enough pic of the thing but i scooped it outta the tank real quick. Just dont wanna get rid of it until i know if its any good or not.

Please help.

Thanks

just located a pic, its a bristle worm.

Err bristleworms are actually useful as part of your clean up crew. As long as they don't get overpowering they won't do any harm. I used to get rid of mine until I found AC:) Now I keep them.

I am not sure even how i got the one, and i wouldnt have seen it in the tank had i not moved the one LR frag. Thanks for all the help.

Like other said Bristle worms can be good or bad. Depends on what kind they are and how big they are. I tend to pic them off new corals or anything I get so I dont get any in my tank. I just dont like how they look.
