Hey, i was thinking of buying some baby tears as a forground plant, but it says you need high WPG or else it will grow vertically.
I have 2.65 WPG right now, is that low, medium, or high lighting and is that good enough for baby tears to grow horizontally?

That is fair enough light to grow hc. Just be sure to include elements like NPK and co2 into the tank as well as light. This plant is a demanding one.

:iagree:
Ferts are Co2 are pretty much a must with this plant.
Agree with what was said above.. the worst that can happen at that lighting is it getting a bit taller
(talking about dwarf baby tears (hc) or the regular baby tears (hm))

i have to disagree with that for hm baby tears.... i have some growing under shop lights fine. i grew a hole basketball size under a 55w light. with that plant its not a must.

If talking about HC(dwar baby tears) anything above 2 wpg is good, but you definitely need co2 and ferts.
HM will grow low light, maybe not the fullest HM ever, but it'll grow and be happy with ~1.5wpg.
