skimmer running wet

:help:I have recently added a reefoctopus 3000 to my big tank.It normally behaves well, but it has just flooded out all over the floor, throwing out water, really wet bubbles.over ten gals in less than half an hour.My partner is mighty pissed as its ruined a load of his stuff!!I already changed out the pump supplying the skimmer for one rated 300gals/hour, the original was rated 550, but its still chucking out wet stuff.HELP:help:

i have a dnw200 nd had the same prob. where all of the sudden it would overflow like crazy...two times and I lost it, took it all out and put my original system back in from lifereef - can't go wrong and will never overflow - best system ever in my opinion.
